Eh, it's not a once per game mechanic? Since when does GW allow multiple ressurects?

Poor Sallies and Basti are still on the list

I know this isn't really true, but it totally feels like GW tests mechanics with Seraphon/Lizardmen so they can give those features to other armies. Lol. Teleport. Bodyguard. Retreat & Charge.
we never got retreat and charge. the other 2(and summoning) were us first but teleport has been a 40K thing for quite some time now. also wary fighter keeps poping up even after we lost it for being to strong

Fair. I guess I was mis-remembering how the 2.0 FoS ability worked. I feel like it was kind of similar. Plus, Skinks had "pile out of combat" as well.

The biggest argument against this is that GW doesn't really seem to coordinate things internally :P

But yeah, if it were a sensible company I wouldn't be surprised if this happend with summoning and the bodyguard rule.

Do you have some more pixels? :P

sorry no but i can translate. what part can't you reed?
pretty much all of it.

bodyguards, summoning, and teleports all predate when seraphon got it in aos.
Who had summoning or bodyguards before us within AoS?
If you mean other games had these mechanics, sure. But as far as AoS goes I think we were the first (or possibly shared first)

pretty much all of it.
fair enough her wheel is w 16 M * B 10 S 3+
her attacks are
spear ranged 24" 1/2/2/-2/* 5,4,3,2
spear melee 2" 1/2/2/-2/* 5,4,3,2
talons 1" 4/3/4/-/1 for every wound that is not saved roll a dice on a 6 that model dies
antlers 1" 3/3/2/-2/* 5,4,3,2

She heals 2D6 in her hero phase and 1d3 to every other unit within 30" so every one

she can retreat and shoot or retreat and charge

she summons on just like before

she can give any terrain peice the overgrown status as a monsturus action

she has impact hits 1=0 2-5=1d3 6=1d6

her spell does damage and if she kills a unit with it it spawns a wild wood

granted for necromancers but serraphon had summoning in the first book and we got the first book

I'm assuming we're referring to the actual summoning mechanic and not the spell casting summoning that never played a role in the game. Demon armies had a very similar mechanic before they started getting their books, it was just on their warscrolls same as seraphon. It wasn't unique to seraphon.

We didn't get an actual summoning mechanic until a GHB update (which was the 3rd GHB I believe). We didn't get bodyguard until our second book.

i do mean that yes. summoning has definitely changed a lot as the game actually became a game but it was still summoning and im not sure if you can count legacy rules for a first in AoS comparison
