Errata announced so that unique wizards can actually take spells again. Also the article contains a whole lot of nonsense about points.
Pretty embarassin to post that drivel, given that the new points have been already analyzed thourougly. Slaanesh is up what... 27% or some joke?
Nuke that algorithm from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
yes but only once and not if they are in combat when you charge. as for limiting it. it is CP dependent so if you can burn threw their CP or force them to hold on to it they can't use it.
you can also mitigate it by throwing something sturdy enough that it doesn't care
Slaanesh is up what... 27% or some joke?
the news that they're paying attention to message boards etc
I would like to ask GW to show us that one messageboard, which told "new Slaanesh is so OP, please, nerf".
I have a hard time feeling bad for an army that had arguably the most powerful age of sigmar book of all time...
But even i think the new book + 3.0 points increase was brutal.
Why?
Edited to add: If you're actually being serious about wishing to ask about it, the email address they provided is AoSFAQ@gwplc.com.

The only issue I have with their algorithm is that they count things like allegiance abilities globally. Which leads to weird stuff, like tzaangors having an inflated cost cuz Tzeentch has a summoning allegiance ability.Pretty embarassin to post that drivel, given that the new points have been already analyzed thourougly. There's an old white dwarf article where they showed part of the excel sheet I think.I would actually like to see their new process/mathematical equation that fits every unit in the game.
Taking into account weapon range and base size? Abilities and Allegiance abilities? I don't know how much of that I believe. The example of the Tzanngors is interesting, but I don't know how applicable that is in practice as I don't play either of those armies.
If Slannesh is paying the price for their early tome, it feels like it's far too heavy handed.
They said they showed it off in a white dwarf, does anyone have that?
Kroak was one of the few exceptions to begin with, because he explicitly has special rules stating he knows everything. So does that mean Kroak can take a generic spell since he already knows the whole slann lore? Flaming weapon could be an interesting option to keep in the back pocket as a hoard breaker. Ghostmist may be better though. And is there a realm spell in the ghb?
or knew how basic gam balance workedView attachment 94355
No, I am not serious. I just wanted to say that I have now idea how GW could hike points for Slaanesh and Sylvaneth if they looked for community feedback and actually watched meassage boards.

But yes, that's essentially what the errata does
And also perhaps the sky is not falling for Slaanesh
they made SLAANGOR more expensive... nuff saidThe problem is not the point hike itself, but the fact it is the point hike for an already struggling army.
This concerns me for what our 3rd edition tome will look like. Will all of our scrolls become ripperdactyl tier? I don't think they should ever write "revenge" books, things should ideally just be brought in line with the rest
The basic idea is fine, the execution is just severly flawed due to decisions like this.
