AoS NEW *rumor*

meh, we got some nice bits and pieces in other bits of lore. Usually in the big epic history background bits. Loads of "And then the seraphon showed up and saved the day during this important battle" or "At first they were beaten but then the seraphon did magic to travel back in time to save the day anyway". Just very lacking in detail. And it's always just 1-2 sentences at a time, so gathering it all up is a pain.
 
kinda curious about the undead now. Seems a bit vampire-hunter based since it's carrying stakes.
 
It looks a bit derpy to me. Disappointed but not surprised that the rumor engine wasn't a salamander after all.

However the palanquin might make for a cool Mazdamundi conversion. It even has a hookah built in!

I think all we did was bring a bunch of Slann that kept up a magic shield to allow the armies of order to actually approach Nagash's stronghold due to all the deathmagic-nonsense instantly aging everyone who got to close. Which is fine it iself. But, there were a couple of issues. 1) It required multiple Slann, you know the most powerfull wizards in existence and even then they barely managed. And 2) chaos and destruction somehow didn't need this protection for some unexplicable reason.

And that was our entire contribution.

O and a Slann died in one of our spaceships so a Skink pushed the "spawn more saurus" button.

Yeah the bit about our slann (the literal greatest magical species that have been practicing magic longer than the fucking gods themselves) struggling with the force field for nagash(argument for his mastery over death magic is relevant and could be utilized to justify the reason for so many of the slann being needed) realm was kinda funky imo

Ya know..... I wonder if they are bringing ol hitlermundi back? Since they brought sigvald so why not right? Mazzy and zlaaq

why not? well because GW doesn't care about lizardmen/seraphon, like at all. and it would require them to return a character to a faction that is not Chaos or aelves

On the topic of us getting stuff, how long has it been since they first teased our underworlds warband? When is that thing finally going to be released?

4 months and february. 2 months off and we still haven't even got a glimpse of the rest of the models... even with a month of daily rumer engines.(sigh)
 
I'm super excited for the new warband. I really want to see what this old blood looks like.
 
So no Kroxigor? That's too bad.

I missed that info, too.

Darn. We're just getting a saurus hero on foot for which we already have a plastic model (the Oldblood). Maybe it could be used as a Sunblood if it has a cool shield. A skink model that could proxy for a Starpriest (already plastic), a Priest (resin), or possibly a Starseer (resin) using some extra parts. The chameleon could be the alpha for a chamo unit. Then we'll get some more skinks that might get used as alphas or stegadon heroes.

I know I shouldn't focus on AoS only, because I'm sure fans of Underworlds, and Lizards, are happy about it. I just keep telling myself that at least we're getting some models.

Yep that's what a lot of us think. You shouldn't have to cannibalize games workshop's other games in order to get new stuff but it's what we're reduced to. And it kind of sucks that we're just getting repeats of our new stuff
