What are you doing today hobbywise?

During a family outing to Barnes and Noble, I picked up StormVault, then built the six Stormcast Eternal heroes. (Why does this game make me want to use it as a campaign system for Warcry?)
 
Basecoated and drybrushed more AoS and 40k terrain. Finished up the last couple models for my Godsworn Hunt, started work on the Eyes of the Nine, finishing the Blue Horror and the Brimstone Horror, then got out to the game store and picked up the last four Underworlds warbands I didn't have and the 40k terrain expansion.
 
Went and got a box of Rippa's Snarlfangs today, I do want to get these guys painted anyway before the whole Armies on Parade, which I'm still stuck on, can't get the motivation. Maybe the Snarlfangs will help get me going. As I do want to get some Skyrim miniatures as a project to help improve painting as I will be working closely with refs from the game. But first, got to get miniatures painted before I can buy.

Blimey, that’s a lucky find given Aether War came out ages ago.

Kharadron are awesome, can’t wait to see yours made and painted! :) Are you going to give them the same purple scheme as your regular Dwarfs (based upon the Barak Varr scheme I found)?

That it was! On hobb-e-mail.com I even found a cheaper one just now. So if you still want one and don't mind the posting price they're still around.

Today, I had a large pang of sadness as I looked over my life scheduling and cannot see how to fit in a game any time soon.

Alas :(

To quote Yeats: "But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams." Which incidentally is also one of my favourite parts of Equilibrium (which is a fantastic movie to see if you haven't yet).

It's a particularly sharp pain as I will be premiering my Tomb Kings army! Against WoC! Which is basically suicide, but should be a laugh. I've had input from @NIGHTBRINGER and others on the Other Armies area of the WFB section of the forum.

I'm keeping myself going with the Pathfinder thread in the General Hobby Chat forum (thanks to @Erta Wanderer @Nazqua @Lizerd @TheCrazyKhorneGuy @Tk'ya'pyk @DeathBringer125 I appreciate our adventures!) and by slowly finding models that I really don't need, but that I want.

My last purchase was on the 'Bay and was a really nice Firebelly model for my Ogre Kingdoms army.
 
Between last night and today, I built Thundr Profiteers. I'll probably prime them soon, but want to get at least two more of the Nightvault expansions built first. Oh, and I started painting the Cursebreakers last night as well.
 
Had a my first hobby spend-up since January today as I finally managed to get down to one of my favourite hobby shops. Bought a pot of Steel Legion Drab (so I can finally finish my first lot of Celts as their bases needed doing army previous pot ran out), another sprue of Romans for SPQR (one on its own which cost only a fiver) and some second-hand stuff:
  • 2 more Rat Ogres and another Master Moulder for my Skaven (only had 2 from the Island of Blood box, and found another 2 so that’s 4)
  • 7 more Lothern Sea Guard for my High Elves (to give me 24)
  • Another archer for my High Elves (to take the unit up to 22)
  • A Dwarf Warrior body that I’m going to make into an extra Hammerer (as my Hammerers are 4th Edition ones so Warrior bodies fit better)
  • 10 fully-painted Khorne Berzerkers for my burgeoning force of Chaos Marines
  • A 5th Edition Craftworld Eldar Codex (as I want to start those with the Avatar and Wraithlord I have)
  • A plethora of other bitz for various projects
