What are you doing today hobbywise?

Dug out the Fenrisian Wolves and ordered some Gnoblars, kind of getting something together as a Destruction Army for Armies on Parade hopefully. Apparently my early judgement of painting Rippa's Snarlfangs made me go "Yes, these guys will do" and I only just started painting them, put the base coats down and shade on the wolves, this early judgement could bite me if they go wrong.
Went with the Gnoblars as they seem more fitting for the theme I am hoping to achieve. I do actually have some mounted Ogors around that could fit in somewhere. Then it's thinking of the center piece, do have a Thunderstusk/Stonehorn around but having a think on whether something else is better.

How they call them matters very little to a Necron Overlord. They are just dogs that are trying to steal away from lions.

Indeed they are just weak aliens squatting in rightfully Necron domains, I just wanted to avoid any confusion or delay that would have arisen from confusing the 40K Imperium with the Fantasy Empire.

A while back, I wanted to play around with a "civilized beastmen" idea for Age of Sigmar, evidently inspired by a tragic entry in the Beasts of Chaos battletome wherein one such society in Hysh found themselves on the wrong end of a stormcast hammer and fell into the hands of Tzeentch. As such, I figured I'd try to play around with the cannibalized box sets of tzaangors and stormcast sequitors I already have.

And then it dawned on me: demigryph-based dragon ogres?

Gryph-hound head, Sequitor torso with a pinned sword-spear conversion that will likely be treated as a halberd in-game, and of course the rest of the demigryph mount itself. Of course, this likely won't be the final result, but for someone who's finally trying their hand at kneading green stuff I'm quite pleased with how it's coming along so far.

This chap may end up seeing use in a Living City CoS army at some point when I get around to working on it.

Brilliant idea.

Very nice idea!

I continued writing on my story today. Chapter 6 is progressing.

I... um... wow... kind of want...

Last night, I finished building the last Nightvault warband I had, Ylthari's Guardians, and put some work in on an Ork Trukk. I primed all four Nightvault warbands this afternoon. Now to find time to paint them...

Sitting there reading the rules for Armies on Parade. Feels like I need some more clarification on 'Not mixing settings' am I allowed to add Fenrisian Wolves to my Grots? They fit well in both settings so why not but now I'm not sure.
Then my brain was poking me a while ago about picking up the Werewolf Cultist project again, do have some kitbashed Werewolves made up using Fenrisian, Crypt Horror and Yhetee spares. They really give the 'Old Edition' vibe :D
Problem is I lost my list of possible model choices when my computer decided to delete everything, then it's the thought anyway whether they can be used as an entry.

Update: It seems like I can add the Fen wolves but I'm not sure
