AoS New Seraphon Battletome release date

Riot often waits more than 2 weeks to swing the nerf hammer though… Need to maximize the amount of money they make off the back of every release, gotta milk those players that haven't been playing that long. They don't get any money from me as i've been there since early season 1 and have had every champion owned for many years. Then…. they'll nerf the new champion 3-4 patches in a row to bring him/her on par with the rest of the playing field.
meh, the only thing riot ever really nerfs are numbers, they never touch the core of what causes issues. Resulting in loads and loads of stuff that's mechanically impossible to balance (overloaded kits that do too much, items that synergize too well/are too efficient, particular "plays" that are immensly rewarding while also putting you at no risk even if you screw up etc. or in some cases the exact opposite, stuff that should logically be "good" being horrificly underpowered cuz otherwise it gets abused to high heavens, like every halfway decent support item ever), but with random number nerfs to random attributes so they still somehow end up with a "healthy" winrate (which is meaningless in and off itself, but different discussion :p).

As long as GW isn't using the same insane approach to balancing they'l at least manage to produce something playable. And it's often easy enough to houserule if something is particularly overpowered in warhammer...

while I agree with the ease and availability of houserulling GW products (much like DnD products) that doesn't help those of us that travel and compete in tournaments bigger than just the LGS Friday night magic equivalent.

exactly as the others have said. I have ZERO gripes with freshspawn.. we need to replenish our ranks after the millennia of war.
Oh, I know. My question was more to inject a little humor to lighten the mood a little. I know I'm welcome here, haven't seen any evidence of gatekeepers and the like, and I love that about this place. Wargaming, from my experience years ago, had a very steep entry curve and nothing but gatekeepers. That seems to have changed and after a couple of videos, a Google search, and a visit to my FLGS, here I am.

But there really is only so many times I can hear hatchling, freshspawn, and the like before I react. Pa-chow. <points to avatar>

Convert your friends, convert your family, and sacrifice your enemies to Sotek!

glad though that you had an easy entry into Wargaming, most people are pretty friendly and welcoming, so you should have a good time:)

This brings up a point that I've been very curious about: exactly how big is the Seraphon player base?

The LVO article mentioned Seraphon as being one of the more popular armies, but I rarely if ever see battle reports with them or in other AoS-related media for that matter. I know this is mainly due to the army being outdated and only having a few competitive builds at the moment, but still. If we're so popular, where are we?! I mean, I know you all have been here and some of us, have only recently resurfaced, myself included, but how many other lizards are out there separate from the jungles of Lustria? lol

It will be interesting to see how many players crawl out of the wood-works for the release. And I mean legitimate Seraphon players who may have stopped for reasons above, not FOTM/bandwagon ones.

As I know since CA made total war 2, many new players especially East Asia lizardman players like to join the AOS Seraphon. Lizardman is the one of the most famous armies in east Asia (Stormcast Eternals is the most) , cuz big dinosaur really cool.

@Austin there is a big conversation about all the new seraphon rule discussions at the new rumour thread.

If rumours are true we may be worse than we started but I highly doubt it
