Awful sign. It should say "fewer fat guys"

I wasn't always this much of a blowhard. Till I started studying German. My German teacher was very strict about the German version of this and internalizing the English helped.

If you can count individuals use "fewer." If you cannot count individuals like with fungible goods like dirt, use "less." You can have fewer particles of dirt but you cannot have fewer dirt. You have less dirt.
