Blog Salamander Custom Mini - Xlanax_lot's Workshop

Will you allow other people to print it? I may be getting a super nice 3d printer soon to do miniatures and when I do I would love to print this for myself.

Geez that's amazing! But also as I previously asked would you be willing to post the pattern or send it to me for personal use? Also what 3d printer do you have?

Hi Man! Sorry for the late response.

At the moment I don't plan to release the file, or mass produce it. I will just be doing a super small batch for me, some friends, and a few for the people that really like it just to absorb the cost of the print and cast.

As for the printer I don't have any hahah Someone else printed it for me, but I think the printer they used is like 40-60k or something like that, its a super nice printer.

Yep, has to be an expensive one. Those are very smooth.

Oh wow lol. Yeah but if you would be willing I would love to be sent the pattern to 3d print it myself. I maybe be getting a super nice 3d printer soon that could do ultra smooth like that. To see the layers you have to use a magnifying glass lol.

??? It looks great but GW is producing some crazy miniatures right now. It's just that Seraphon is an older range.

Sure, their new stuff isn't bad, I'm not a huge fan though, but aesthetics aside I think this seems to be of a better quality in terms of it being very smooth and having no mold lines (so in terms of build quality I guess), so in that sense it is better; and the fact that is a Lizardmen/Seraphon miniature just puts it above everything that is not :p

And if by my biased view of everything Lizard being the best, then this model is at the top, probably at first place, and I'd gladly have Xlanax_lot design every new lizard model for GW if it meant we got something of that quality and awesome awesomness as this :D

Can somebody from GW please hire this guy?! :)

Judging from the size and the base substituting any actual GW miniature with this model in terms of tabletop play will be not possible, but the head may be a nice material for a conversion. Would it be possible to buy just the head at some point in time?
