Blog Salamander Custom Mini - Xlanax_lot's Workshop

I want to see freehand scales on the "softer" part of the lizard skin, please!
How was the assembly? I see some modelling putty here and there to cover up the blanks :concern:

The assembly was preaty easy I just used the putty to make sure all surfaces are smooth, I always do this when assembling minis before doing a paint job

WHY HASN’T GW HIRED YOU YET!?

There are many answers to this question, none of them will make any semblance of logical sense, they only hire people who are prepared to work ONLY in their style and ONLY after they have churned out 4 free sculpts.

@Xlanax_lot

I'll ping you a message later on, I'm aware I've been glossing over messaging you about casting sculpts.

How long does making some thing like that take?

Probably a lot less then it took me! Hahahah

This was the first miniature I fully sculpted, so it involved learning the program, learning anatomy, doing the concept, learning sculpting etc... but it took me over 200 hours :s

I am sure the next one is going to go way faster as I now know the basics

Can't wait for mine, nor the next project you make! I'll take this opportunity to tell everyone how useful has been to me to be Xlanax Lot's patreon. He has amazing guides and tutorials and he is very present and active with his community. If you have one dollar you could go away with, or maybe more than one, I highly recommend to support this great artist. That will help him produce more of his amazing content, which I am sure inspired many of us ;)
