Yoda would be interesting, but I think that he suffers from the opposite of what Fett has. Fett is somehow cool (apparently) Yoda is just some old dude sitting around who only had some actual cool scenes in the prequels. In the Original ones he's just a, somewhat creepy, muppet that says some wise stuff. Generally that doesn't seem to interest many people :p

I like Yoda in both the Original Trilogy and the Prequel Trilogy, though if I had to choose, I'd say he is even better in the OT.

There's plenty of people who like him, but very few who seem to think he's particularly cool. And the only reference to yoda being cool/awesome I usually see is when people are talking about his fights with dooku & sidious.

Certainly I would have preferred that Kenobi film.

However, this Han Solo one will certainly be a 'grey' film as there are no truly 'good' characters and no truly 'evil' ones.
 
My justification for picking Fett is that Yoda should remain a mystery and that wise old master, Maul's story has almost completely been told, Vader and Kenobi have both had 6 films with them as main characters and I don't care at all for Knights of the Old Republic, so Revan hold zero interest for me

Agreed again! So many people love him for the lore but in the films all he does is track down the Rebels (although he needs Vader's troops to catch them), takes a few pot-shots at Luke (and misses) and attempts to shoot Luke again but Luke chops off the end of his blaster and knocks him down into the maw of the Sarlacc. Not an amazing character in my eye,
