Knights of the Old Republic computer game. I've never played it myself, but I know it was wildly popular.

Revan's involved in all the KOTOR games (including the MMO) and has several books and comics or some such. He's involved in quite a lot of story.

To be honest, the best part is probably the extended universe which makes me want to say revan, except that then he'd be part of the movies which somehow always pale in comparison. So not sure if it'd actually be a good thing.

But since Kenobi is by far my favourite character in the whole Star Wars, I think it should be Kenobi.

Seeing a younger Yoda, living in the old republic (but not quite as far in the past as other SW fiction in the old republic, such as KOTOR) could be interesting....

Definitely not Fett - Boba Fett is one of the most overrated Star Wars characters ever!!!! He's useless in the films and is only good because the lore says he's the best bounty hunter in the galaxy. In fact I would have rather seen a prequel to the prequels about how Jango Fett was picked to become the clone template.

Definitely not Fett - Boba Fett is one of the most overrated Star Wars characters ever!!!! He's useless in the films and is only good because the lore says he's the best bounty hunter in the galaxy.

I didn't voted for him, but at least it would be interesting to see a good movie that shows effectively why he was the best bounty hunter.

Meh, if the sith have to be the focus of the movie I'd rather focus on something from the Old republic era, at least those sith had some character development beyond "they look creepy and have red laser so clearly they're evil". In general anything from the extended universe, the further removed from the movies the better

Also, why is Fett so popular? He has a neat looking mandalorian suit of armor, but beyond that it's not likethere is anything to him but that one line of fluff saying he's the best. How does he end up being popular and not random stormtrooper captain #2342 or something...

Well, Disney won't do any films based on the Expanded Universe because to them it isn't Canon. Although at least the films would be original if they were set in that time.

Agreed, sir, 100%. I haven't a clue either, see above. His 'dad' may be less popular and have less screen time, but at least he actually contributes to the Battle of Geonosis and he is acutally threatening.

People have always seemed to like him. I have never really understood it myself. To me he seemed too buffoonish after the happenings of Episode 6.

They might very well use some of it in the future. I think they just wanted to make it non-canon for now to ensure that they have creative freedom for their upcoming projects. As soon as they bring something in from the EU, it will automatically be canon anyways.
