Kinda close enough I guess... Not sure they're at all useful though. I might just have to get it anyway and have it dancing around the feed of a Carno...
 
I like Dark Riders (Shadow Blades) on paper too if you can get them some re-rolls to hit like say a hurricanum. 35 attacks per turn for a min sized squad for 140 points. 14" move and can re-roll one dice on the charge. Re-roll saves of 1, re-roll saves of 1 and 2 in combat. Seems legit.

Hunting kitten is more a destruction unit though...:p And those frost sabres are pretty good battleline for the beastclaw raiders.
 
A unit like Frost Sabres for Order would be awesome though, ecspecially if the miniatures were of fluffy kittens. If I can't have hunting kittens for Order, then I guess I have to stick to Pomeranians. Sigh.

As ling as your opponent knows what it represents I think you could get away with the proxy and warscroll name change in most places.
 
I am going to be getting a fair few hounds and setting up something as a "hound master" type unit - maybe a wizard - so that thematically it looks cool. Paint him up as an aztec or mayan looking guy, darker skin, maybe a strip of red paint across his eyes to look like facepaint.

Hunting pomeranians would still be hunting hounds, right? They're both dogs and they're both used for hunting, so I think they should count. I doubt pomeranians have Savage Teeth, though. Maybe I should do Hunting Goldendoodles.
 
I can already imagine my opponent's reaction.
Opponent:"Why do you have some pomeranians made of green stuff?"
Me:"I've decided to include some Hunting Hounds in my army."
Opponent:"I doubt cute little fuzzballs can hurt anyone."
Me in combat phase:"You sure?"
Opponent is surprised because a Chaos Sorceror Lord was taken down to one wound left by the pomeranians.

LOL that reminds me of my first game with AoS rules. Neither my friend nor me had any models finished, so I used "Shaun the Sheep" miniatures for Seraphon units and my friend used Hello Kitty minis for Orruks. Hilarious!
