I'll probably watch it anyway. I tend to take my cartoons seriously.
My problem is every promo seems to focus 100% on the setting. My instincts tell me they just wanted to make animal puns and gags and play with advanced animation in anthormophizing animals but Disney phoned in on the plot. Especially since there are a mahrlect load of anthromorphic animal cartoon universes.
Sure Duck Tales involved ducks but people like Scrooge and the other characters. Looney Toons involved mostly animals but it wasn't the novelty of the animals that made them good.
Watch our cartoon, it has animals!
