To explain this is not the list I want to field, currently these are all the models that I own. I'd rather jump in with what I've got rather than sit around and twiddle my thumbs. So with that in mind I'd love to read some feedback on what I could do better with what I have or tactics on how to use this formation.

Skink Priest,Luckstone, Level 2 Wizard

Bastilidon

I think this is playable and you only need to use your old blood as a scar vet with little bit different equibment and buy another pack of skinks and saurus warriors which are always useful

Probably not the optimum setup for him, especially on foot as he's more likely to be taking the charges than making them and your unlikely to see a huge amount of use for the Pirahna blade at this points level. There is a good thread on here with a bunch of good builds listed if you'd like some inspiration.

Skink Priest

As your only mage Id make him a lvl.2 and give him the dispel scroll to give you more defensive magical options.

A bit small IMO, maybe merge the Temple guard models into here to make a nice solid core block to work around?

Skink Skirmishers x16
- Blowpipes
If 6 are sufficiently different to the rest of the unit, you may be able to use them as chameleon skinks? They're probably the best option for blowpipers. If you make the Temple Guard into saurus as above you may even be able to swap them all into chameleons for a lot of tactical flexibility.

Again, too small, this unit is actually below minimum unit size. Either make them saurus or grab the coolest looking saurus and promote him into a TG! Would probably opt for the big block of saurus personally but a unit of 10 TG could make a decent "detatchment" to support your main block...

Terradons x3
- Fireleech Bolas
Fine as-is.

Bastilladon
- Solar Engine
Fine as-is. Will be good in conjunction with the Skink Priest to use up all your Power Dice.

Just my thoughts on the options you have available. I think you have a real solid start to a larger army, but need a little bit more of some things to round the units out.

If your thinking about future purchases I'd suggest considering the battalion box, it will give you more saurus, TG, and skinks to round out those units and some coldone cavalry which you can either build as Cold One Cavalry or do as many have and convert them into a bunch of mounted scar veterans/ Old Bloods.

Thanks for the help! What an amazing breakdown, I've never played a game so this is very helpful. I'm definitely going to converge my Temple Guard and Saurus Warriors into one biog block; that should free up some points for me to spend elsewhere either on my Oldblood or those Chameleon Skinks. I'll give an update on how my game turns out!
