Who'm are we talking to?

After my daughters' picture, here's one with the real me.
The quality is awful (scan of a portion of an old printed photo), but you get the idea.
Yes, of course I've got more recent pictures of me, and with a far better quality, but Gygax with "thumb up" because you won the AD&D tournament is not a thing you can buy with MasterCard... :)

That's amazing! Congrats on winning the AD&D tournament! I miss that version of the game! Though to be fair I played that and then 4th, and that's all my D&D experience, both were quite a bit of fun in different ways.

That's awesome!

Hello. Saw this thread and thought it was a cool idea. In the first picture, I am the one on the right - in the shiny metal. Yes, that's real steel armour and yes, that's a real steel (blunted) sword. I've fought both professionally and competitively for over 12 years - with 2 different medieval organizations. That armour is my older set (15th century style) while the second picture (sorry for the fuzzyness) is my newest set (14th century Cherburg style).
As you can see, my interest in the medieval period is intense and fun - so it's no wonder Im drawn to WFB table top. :D
I live in Michigan, USA. Glad to see so many different people and cultures on here. Enjoy the pics.

Alright let's give this thread a bit of life, since you've all been so bold. My profile picture is indeed of me, but I'm sure you all want to see something more contextual, so just to fuck with you here's a picture of me (not so great, was caught off guard by my sister's Instagramming) just... walking the lizard.

For the deets: 22, United Kingdom, been playing with toy soldiers since I was a wee armchair general of 9.

True, I am not a tiny gnome (1,89m) but I wanted to have the verb "grummeln" (to grunt/grumble) in the name and an alliteration for it -> "Gnom". :)
It's metal but not folk metal and with strange vocals that shows the strife of the Grummelgnom between being a friendly forest creature and an angry warrior. My early songs are a bit like Gollum in Lord of the Rings lyrics-wise. My new lyrics are different but I've only recorded one demo version so far.

Latest song (December 2016):

Another song with music video I made in 2009: :D

===========

I do have a second music project that is a bit folky sometimes. My last album was released in 2003 and I've struggled with time and motivation since then although I've composed many songs over the years.

You can download the entire album from Bandcamp for free:
