As you probably know, I am from Great Britannia, specifically from the south where in the summer the clear blue sky and warm sun do actually appear, and often! Don’t you forget it...

Same here. I also spend a fair bit of time on the Isle of Wight, which in places has a climate closer to the Mediterranean than the rest of Britain

I don't know anyone there either, but it was such a fantastic place. We had the most amazing trip.

We went to all 4 of the major islands and enjoyed them all.
