8th Ed. whats the best all round stegadon?

SanDiegoSurrealist - You are absolutely right! I just looked at the Lizardmen book again and, although they fire 2D6 shots, Blowpipes do NOT have the Multiple Shots rule. Excellent - that 1 point makes a huge difference!

Don't forget that you get to add 3 javelin shots into it as well!

Always forget about the 3 Javs!

Also if you have a Skink Chief on there can you use his BS to fire one of the Blow Pipes?

Nope - this used to be hotly debated, but they cleared it up in the FAQ:

Q: If a Stegadon is taken as a mount can the character's BS be used when firing the howdah weapons (p55)?
A: No.
