8th Ed. What do you guys think of my 2500 I need advice and pointers

Ok so I am building up to 2500pts I play in a fairly competitive meta what do you think of my list? I will be running my slaan with life and using my little priest as a suicidal dwellers missile system LoL. the slaan with the Temple guard the cowboy solo or in the Saurus and the chief with the Ripper D's

Things I have considered are as follows
1.) Dropping a skirmisher unit and wiggling points to get another unit of 4 Ripper D's
2.) Loading out my Slaan better

Chief can't join unit of flier.

Add Channeling staff on the Slann.
