What are you doing today hobbywise?

Lots of great tools and now neatly organized. Way to go!

Yeah, only issue is, I didn't BUY most of them. I inherited an entire freaking workshop from a distant relation because I'm the only one in the family who does model trains. He's got two sons and a daughter, each with their own kids, and none of them wanted any of it. :jawdrop:

So now I have enough to outfit three worktables... :meh:

Bought a single fenrisian wolf and a 4th/5th edition hobgoblin wold rider boss. It cam in the mail yesterday. So I now have an assembled hobgob wolf boss for my Chaos Dwarfs. I plan on buying the AOS bull centaurs and war machines in a month or so

Only a fenrisian wolf? I used a Thunderwolf:

Was it fun?

Grrr, !mrahil

Yes and no.
Usually i write my own scenarios and at this point i'm pretty good at it.
This round i was asked to try one of the scenarios by GW for the asymmetrical warfare.
We went for it.
at round 2 we recognized it was sensless to continue, 'cause at the end of its T3 (just sitting on obj), Team A could have abandoned the table, and Team B would have lost the same. I've had a similar experience back in 8th edition, trusting a GW scenario... Never again.

This happened in the morning... so, we decided on the run to play also in the afternoon just for massacre and kill point. It was a blast and a complete fun. :D

Contemplating Daemons. Four Chaos Gods. I now have a Daemon Prince for three of them...

Working on my Gitmob starter box still. I kind of got distracted when I first got it, only built 3 of the Snarlpack and the named character. Figure I should get back to it, and try to get some of my old world wolf riders based up to use with them. I like the new sculpts, but I already have 40 wolf riders from TOW and a couple of chariots, so why not add them to my Gitmob? :D

While i love these new sculpts, I'm not happy with the price tags for the Chariot Heros or the new Doom Diver. $100 for as many points is not a good point-to-dollar ratio, and that put me off of working on them. :meh:

...that and the original AoS rules for the Gitmob gave the Shaman a spell that would give -1 Rend to a target unit, and without that you have to rely on weight of numbers for a subfaction that is all about speed and doesn't have the numbers to back it up. :meh:

Still, I can run my Troggoths with the Gitmob, so at least I have some rend and damage output there, right?

EDIT: Okay, nevermind. I finally found the thing I was looking for in the Battle Formations section (which is new this edition - I haven't played much 4th ed AoS yet due to time so hadn't noticed this). "Sunbiter Pack: pick 3 friendly gitmob units every turn and those units get -1 Rend on "companion" attacks (the wolves). This makes me feel better about running a wolf-centric army, though I will still likely bring along some troggoths.

Today I was searching for some 3D print file for this beauty, but with no luck...

Working out how to convert the Horns of Hashut warband into a unit of Chaos Warriors to use as TOW allies with my Chaos Dwarf force.

Why not just use them as some extra Chaos Dwarf models? There are only 4-5 models in the warband so they won't be enough to form a unit on their own, and some alternative heads in place of the ugly 'female' head sculpts will be enough to allow them to fit well as character models and/or extra rank-and-file.

The Horns of Hashut warband is the Hashut themed chaos warrior warband from Warcry, the human Hashut followers from a while back. I'm thinking of picking up 2 boxes and some spare bits to put together a unit of 10 or 12 Hashut themed Chaos warriors with 2 hand weapons and a small unit of marauder/slaves with great weapons.
