What are you doing today hobbywise?

Shame. Sounds like it was a blast.
Oh, it was.

The game against my last opponent more or less ended with him conceding pretty graciously after losing all of his warhounds, while I hadn't lost a single titan. It really didn't help that the primary objective had us gunning for a crossroads at the center of the board - a kill zone into which my opponent had funneled his forces to face down my two warlord titans and their warhound courtiers.

It wound up becoming a learning experience for my opponent (a relative novice to whom this was their 8th time playing AT), especially when it came to the intricacies of being able to merge void shields on a weapon-by-weapon basis. Towards the end of the game, it also wound up becoming more of a discussion on where he should probably go with Legio Solaria - their legio rules and equipment better suited lighter maniples than the one he fielded at the event (He brought 4 Warhounds and 1 Warlord in a Mandatum Maniple) - with the recommendation to pick up a reaver titan or two for a Venator or Ferrox Light Maniple, and possibly one of the new dire wolf titans as a support titan (which requires having a titan maniple anyway).

One of a couple of conversions I'm going to be doing to salvage a few defective firedrake models I own, and opening up the door to field an all Cataphractii Terminator army with my Salamanders.

This particular individual had a badly miscast right arm, so it was a no-brainer to pop it off, as I was planning to build a standard bearer in the event I was running a normal Cataphractii Command Squad (and failing that, a legion herald consul). A bit of scrounging through my stuff for parts got me both the arm, banner, and banner topper I needed, putting it altogether however involved a crash course on how to work with brass rod for the first time (settled with taping and scoring for a bit before resorting to the heavy-duty sidecutters and files).

Heavy duty side cutters or wire clips would be your best bet for quick cuts. For clean cuts you might want to see about a local makerspace to use something else

Primed a commission figure, the mighty chroneas from mantic games.

Also primed an example figure of King Pedro I of Aragon and Navarra from the pre-battle council diorama that came out in June.

Also primed a test conversion for cheap Draugr fodder for kings of war.

Also primed a ogre halberdier example model (unarmored)

Also primed an example benin goblin with blowgun.

Furthermore, reorganized next-in-line queue to be commission pieces, with personal stuff worked in as well.
