What are you doing today hobbywise?

Not much today, as I'm still dealing with a health issue that makes sitting at a table for any real length of time difficult, but did go by the FLGS and order a Skink Starseer to add to my TL and DT lists.

Happy wife offers to buy present… Eyeing up some mini’s…

Did a table sale today and I was crazy lucky that a guy across the way was selling some Warhammer, picked up a Slaves to Darkness SC for £15, all complete :woot:.
Didn't buy the Skeletons, which were the same price, nearly did though but had to resist.

Now back home, ready to do a tiny bit more painting on my Armies of Parade entry. :artist:

Great deal, a pity for the skellies but that's because i would have picked them :D

Yep, made me wish I also picked them up but only brought enough for one box, well did made enough to go grab the other but the SC felt more worth it.
Will be saving it for any future projects I have planned

It's more a problem of tools at disposal.
And anyway with titans you don’t measure from the base but from the model itself, the base is just really only there to give more stability.

Aha good to know.
That can lead to some good creativity ;)

On Saturday I made the Skorpekh Destroyers I got with Imperium Issue 4, after having made the Necron Warriors I received in Issue 2 a week or so before. Looking forward to trying out my 6th Edition house rules for them!

I...ordered another Sentinel for my Skaviir Dominion army. I already have 9 for my "uses Astra Militarum codex but is totally a xenos Skaven-In-Space army," adding one more will bring my total to... 8.

Because I found THIS online and want to make something similar as a Hellhound stand-in!

That is totally awesome!!!
Good luck

A great-looking model, I take that it's a conversion some talented soul made?

If you want to use it as a Hellhound, you'll need to replace the plasma cannon with a heavy flamer. However, I have a better idea...

One of my many fan-made army book projects is Codex: Hrud, based predominantly on the Warpath Veer-myn range, but I don't see why it couldn't feature Stolen Sentinels as a unit choice. I haven't finished it yet by a long way, but I'll tag you when it is.

Talking of Stolen Sentinels, if, on the other hand, you want to use official rules for your Space Skaven, I'd say Genestealer Cults would be a more fitting army to play them as, because their Cult Ambush would be particularly fitting for Skaven, and they can ally in Hellhounds from the Imperial Guard list.
