I played my Third battle in the Middle Earth Campaign of my battle companies.
There is a trend of the Minas Tirith company winning a lot... perhaps I will start over and add a third army, to mix up things a little more.

If you do, I recommend Dwarves, though if you want an affordable Battle Company I’d say you go for Kingdom of Khazad-Dum/Moria Dwarves or Erebor Reclaimed, because Iron Hills Dwarves are just ridiculously priced, even though they’re great models. My Middle Earth Dwarves would fit into the Khazad-Dum/Moria Dwarf army list of the new edition.
I have a box of the Basic Dwarf Warriors which I was planning to use for this. Perhaps convert some to Ironguards or Khazad Guards

The Oathmark Dwarves are lovely models. I'm getting a box for Christmas and plan to add them to my kingdom. An easier option for Iron Guard and Khazad Guard if you’re not planning to use your collection at GW tournaments would be the Oathmark Dwarf Heavy Infantry - they seem to be pretty close to Middle Earth scale and have the same design aesthetic. Khazad Guard can be made from the double-handed weapon option and Iron Guard can be made using some of the single hand weapons, as axes and swords are included
...um... I cleaned my work desk a little... and now I'm... um... working on model trains, actually?

time for some WWII (bolt action).
i LOVE the box of Warlord Games, when you pick a "made to order" product.

Ah, a fellow railway modeller! Which scale do you work in?
I have some OO stuff of my own and am also becoming more and more the custodian of my great uncle's N-Gauge layout as in recent times he's decided to just sit in his chair and pretend to be an invalid all day rather than live some sort of life
