What are you doing today hobbywise?

Won't their heads be too big and ears too small for Grots? I would say at least swap the heads, but keep everything else

I like the way you think, but those heads are part of the sculpt and difficult to remove. I'm okay with them the way they are. The heads are actually almost a match for current grots. Remember, this is a 1987 sculpt. Closer to 25mm than the current scale. Older grots had smaller ears as well, so not a huge issue.

I put some insect on my Treefolk, getting them ready to spray.

Might spray them this week.

Grrr, Imrahil

Ugh. Today I am looking at minis and thinking of new armies to collect and build because my brain doesn't want to work on the stuff I already have...

I imagine pretty much everyone else here gets that feeling sometimes ;)

As for my hobby activity, I’m now writing some unofficial Warscrolls for my unofficial Order of the Sacred Lady Faction for AoS. I suppose I should really be getting on with my short story contest entry, but unofficial armies are more fun...

Starting to worry my single Kroxigor, a Saurus Sunblood and two Saurus Knights (with completed Cold Ones) wont keep me occupied throughout lock down. Going to have to dive into the bits box and get creative!

If you save the sprues you could always make something amazing with them, as I did with my Plagueclaw Catapult here. After all, as we've all got time to kill, now's the time to try and think of and plan out as many amazing conversion ideas as you can!

Going to make another slow effort to get the SC done for the Skeletons.
Dug out my 20 Direwolves a few days ago and got them primed, being that I can't get the next unit for New Year, New Army. Luckily I had the Wolves hiding away, got about 800 points in total so far. Not sure what to go for in terms of points 1000, 1500 or 2000. Will have to send a message over to the Store manager.
I will end up going with a mixed Death army. Need to get some more skeletons later on to make the units bigger, probably split the Wolves so they make the 3 battlelines if I go with a larger army.

Finished some Lothern Sea Guard for my High Elves (pics to follow!) and am now enlarging one of my Dwarf Warrior units with some of the ones I bought in a job lot a couple of months back.

Oh, and have also been steadily progressing with my Short Story contest entry, I’m about halfway through now and I try to make a bit of progress with it every day now given that the deadline is fast approaching.

Played my first few battles in Warhammer: Total War as the Sons of Grungni. Suffered three close defeats against a Greenskin army of my choosing before I realised I was fighting the medium AI in my first ever battles and changed it to the Easy AI, against whom I won a close victory
