What are you doing today hobbywise?

yesterday i did some practice plays by my own, to get myself familiar with the stats of the units.
Scar-Veteran on the Carno wasn't that helpful at all. maybe next time better

Cross-posting from my project thread:
Finally, the last bit of airbrushing!

I'm feeling pretty confident in my "colour wheel" strategy to make up for a lack of Waywatcher Green in my local area, instead using a 3:4 ratio of Guilliman Blue to Lamenters Yellow.

In the last two days I've been playing "Warhammer: Chaosbane" with my buddy @Mesandres for quite some hours.
Really inspiring, especially if you like Chaos Daemons.

My Salamanders infantry for Horus Heresy, barring my chaplains, are now officially "tabletop-ready".

I even had a blast so far painting up the Bray'arth Ashmantle torso I'm using for a mortis dreadnought.

Got my Packmasters, Rat Ogres and Giant Rats for the display. Not sure whether to put them on bases, don't know anyone else entering the Open category

While babysitting a workstation after hours during a 24-hour duty watch, I passed the time by painting up a Sicaran Venator and two Land Raiders in prep for the 2500pt list I'm fielding as of 9am tomorrow morning at a local Horus Heresy tournament.

Planning on going by the local GW tonight to try out contrast paints and maybe get a Killteam game in.

Procrastinating on projects I care about by painting projects i care less about....

Playing a lot of Warhammer:Chaosbane on the PC.
I hope that counts as....getting inspiration or something...

I drew a lake on a piece of paper.

...And I am playing chess.

... ...On triangles.

... ... ...Over the Internet.

... ... ... ...Against my brother.

I painted the mouth and belly of the beast, Carno ;)

Finally got a game in with my gloomspite gits. Lost badly to Stormcast at 1000 pts. Basically, I did everything right, made the rolls I needed to, and still couldn't get the win. It happens.

Played some more Chaosbane. Nothing painted yet this month. I just don't feel like it. Also I am waiting until I have tried out the contrast paints.
I am going to build one or two Skinks (one of them primed with my usual white) and bring them with me to the GW together with a painted one, hoping to figure out which contrast paint will fit.

Tried out the new contrast paints at GW today.

I'm liking the result, though I think I'll be using an airbrush for a smoother application in the future.
