What are you doing today hobbywise?

Painting Seraphon Warrior shields and a replacement Alpha Talon (I was unhappy with the previous one). Once done I will have a formation of 30.

Only then can I start painting my Slann Starmaster.......

Building a list for the next week's 40k Apocalypse: Clash of Titans (LoW and Heavy supports)

Still tidying but busy clipping spares, got a few Wulfen hands for some of my cultists, not sure whether to go and look for some leg spares but I might end up using greenstuff.
Even though trying to save up I ended up buying a miniature from HeroForge, let's see what premium plastic is like.

Building some more Rourvuk Carrion today, got my Crypt Ghouls and Tzaangor heads to make the unit larger. The kit and parts have been sitting around for a while.

Finished off a can of black primer on 29 models last night (two 10-man HH Salamanders squads, 4 AT warhounds, 1 AT reaver, 1 techpriest, 1 skaven warlord, 1 arch-warplock, and 1 primaris lieutenant). I still need to finish priming the models, so a trip to the local GW is in order.

I also got to painting more of the redemptor dreadnought, starting with a drybrushed layer of gun metal followed by a nuln oil wash.

Got the bodies of 5 Salamander firedrakes built, and taking my time equipping them with their thunder hammers.

Still plugging away at the redemptor, which now has at least one layer of green pain where it matters.

Still slowly building the Rourvuk Carrion, just got their arms left and sculpting some greenstuff onto their necks. Also building the 3 special characters, need to add a few more spare bits to them to make them unique.
Also forgot to mention a few days ago where the manager of the stables I go to (haven't worked there for a while because of my head and everything) asked me about miniature collecting because her grandson wants to start collecting and painting, I did mention about the free sessions and stuff but it's an expensive hobby, in the end I also suggested the bigger kits from companies like Tamiya and Revell as they are easier kits due to the larger parts. He likes dinosaurs so if he does get more involved we may get another Seraphon collector.
But whenever anyone asks me about the hobby I kinda shrug, it's a 'Enter at your own risk' :p I remember when I became part of the hobby all because I walked in to buy a dragon kit because I like dragons.

Barring weapons and left Mark IV shoulder pads that I need to order, I finished building a 10-man special weapon (flamer) squad for my HH Salamanders army. Now onto another squad with similar issues, this time equipped with meltaguns.

Just finished 40 skinks, old models with bows. Took me a painful week from basecoat to finish. Just need flocking and base-rim painting.

I've just non an immensely fun game with my Tau.

Well, this has been a victorious weekend, as yesterday i won 2 games with my nighthaunt cavalry list...
