What are you doing today hobbywise?

I am most likely going to finish up five more feudal Imperial Guardsmen and then work on some Steel Legion. I may or may not process another order today.

Reading the Nighthaunt Battletome so I can help my friend to build a list that can beat my armies.

If anyone wants to help:
I am going to post a thread about Nighthaunt soon.

Haven't been able to do anything today. On eBay at the moment and I saw someone selling a Troggoth Hag for about £95. Forgeworld is much cheaper, even with the p&p added on

Got a diorama idea based off my Matriarch Rourvuk fluff, having one perched above in the cathedral eyeing a group that took shelter inside. I can easily vision it in my head, just wonder if I can pull it off.
It would mean picking some up some Empire.
Another to write down for the project list.
The Rourvuk are my proudest project yet for the hobby, need to try and give some attention to the Seraphon to one point though.

Bought more skinks and a white dwarf while both kits were still available in-store, followed up by attempting a 4000pt game of attrition with nearly all of my built seraphon models on the table (barring 40 saurus warriors and a skink priest) against a Stormcast army. Suffice to say that I'm mildly surprised by how well my saurus guard did facing a charge at the top of Turn 1. Not so much for my kroxigors or saurus knights though, the former of which facing a lord-celestant on a stardrake in that same turn.

I'm going to pitch an idea here, and I want honest opinions.....

Semi- technologically advanced imperial landsknect guard

LC on SD is brutal, so no surprise. Especially against units with multiple models.

Trying to put together a Sourbreath Troggoth, metal miniatures....
Also looking at the pictures of the entries for Armies on Parade, look at this entry! There is always the one that is just amazing to look at. Time to take notes for next year as I wasn't able to enter this year

:wideyed::wideyed::wideyed::wideyed::wideyed::wideyed::wideyed::wideyed:

A truly magnificent entry worthy of the Hive Mind! Also like the slightly Zerg-esque style of the Hive cluster.

As for what I’m doing hobbywise, I’m being forced to learn virtually the entirety of JavaScript and build a serverless web application with it for a deadline in 4 weeks’ time, so I am going to have even less time than usual to do anything Warhammer-related :(

There seems to be the one every year at my local store when it comes to AoP :p I also like the Racetrack one (which can be seen just behind) There is also another where the colours are really nice, not crazy on the décor but the colours really make up for it.

Meanwhile I am taking a break from the Troggoth because the gap difference for his weapon is crazy, did get it to fit better by carefully bending. Will make gluing attempts later. I'm just decorating the bases for the Fellwater Troggoths now.

Just finished building both a Verminlord Deceiver and a Primaris Lieutenant (the latter from GW's celebration of opening their 500th store today).

Because some of the parts for the Verminlord didn't line up exactly (especially where the inner left thigh is concerned), I'm going to need to do some putty work before I get around to painting him.

I did something!
...not a lot though. I was at the GW store with @Mesandres and he bought some Nighthaunt. I got myself a Tau hero (Cadre Fireblade) to test my color scheme.
No clue if I will be able to use him later, but he was the only single Tau infantry model in the store so I got him.
Assembled him already.

He's pretty much a "must include" if you want to field some infantry . Which you will. ;)
