What are you doing today hobbywise?

I've got decisions to take for an incoming 2000 pts AoS tournament.

Option 1:
LoN with Nagash, VLoZD, necromancer and 10 black knights. Heavy magic and heavy hitters. Already tested and works nicely.

Option 2:
Try Cities of SIgmar for an even heavier magic phase (yeah, you know the city I'm talking about).
Celestial hurricanum, 2-3 wizards, 30 handgunners, 20 Irondrakes and other things.
Impressive on paper but not tested on the battlefield.

Option 3:
GO WILD WITH THE FUN!
Seraphon with Slann, 3 EotG, Cogs and Dread Saurian.

To be honest I'd say use what you've tested, i.e. the Nagash list. If it's a tournament you're going to, you don't really want to be gambling with a list that hasn't been properly tested on the battlefield.

Yeah, i was thinking that too. The 3 options are ranked from top to bottom (even if, you know, the urge to play something new is strong)

During my lunch break today I walked into the local board games shop for 2 pots of paint.
Walked out with 2 pots of paint and a copy of Nightvault Core set, for discount price(50% off)

Figuring out if I should keep it or sell it:oops:

Gr, Imrahil

It is no fun if you don't add a 4th engine.

Surely if you bought it, you wanted it in the first place? I mean, it's no longer being made, so you might as well hold onto it. That way, either you'll be able to play with it or, if you've decided you really don't have room for it, you can sell it as a collector's item.

Well, that depends - can you finish painting a Hellcannon model and three Chaos Dwarf crewman models in 83 days? ;)
The Chaos Dwarf crew are all finished! I had them finished months back. Even the Hellcannon itself is finished now, I just have to finish the base. :):)

83 days... it will be a close one! :D

I have a similar quantity! ;)

Don't know if Jungle Swarms are still usable in AoS, but all the spare serpents that come with the Saurus Cavalry boxes can be used to make some of those.

They're not, but I'll make some anyway. Also planning to make some scenery based on the spare bits from the Stegadon that make it an engine of the gods.

More progress during yet another 24-hour duty watch. I built a razordon kit I had laying around, as well as the warlock-bombardier and the stormfiends (shock gauntlets, ratling cannons, windlaunchers) from the Carrion Empire box I've only just started breaking into after all this time. During the early morning night watch, I even got around to some painting, mostly touch-ups on the sunblood and getting Legio Xestobiax colours (purple and white) on the Warlord-class titan.

Sitting here thinking what to add to the ever growing collection of miniatures and I just remembered I want to carry on with the Vampire army, complete with bats. Got some Vampire Lords and some bats, just need to add other models. I want to convert a mount for Neferata as the Abyssal don't like me, no matter how much I pin. Not sure what's the next best fit, there is the Terrorgheist but currently thinking on what other options.
Also the pain of the expensive Blood Knights, I love them but expensive.

How good is Adeptus Titanicus?
As a specialist game, it's a pretty good spiritual successor to Epic 40k. You don't need many models for a viable maniple that's effective, and gameplay is handled similarly to that of many other warband skirmish games.
