Hello everyone! Been playing LM and WHFB for quite some time, however, had to take a long hiatus until last year and a short one right after our new book came out so I am asking for some advice now that it has been out a bit and I am starting up an escalation league this weekend that starts at 1000pts for the first two weeks and increases each week thereafter. Here are my two primary lists to start:

Please let me know your opinions. My local META includes a little bit of everything. Most likely are OK, OnG, Skaven, Dwarves, Empire, VC, HE, LM.
I've run that first list before with moderate success with different builds on the OB for the same pts value. I have unfortunately never used our new units in a match (specifically Rippers and Basti) but I really want to. I just don't know enough of them yet to confidently include them in such a small setting. I have other lists that have both but they feel too...sparse...
