yep, those little dudes prey on insects and small targets, you really need to scare / step on them for them to waste their precious poison on you.

I deal with them as i do with large spiders and similar: capture & release

funny how the scarab swarms are 6-legged beetles, while their "mother" is the 8-legged canoptek spyder...
