It still makes me cringe to see Avengers getting the credit for an exchange Kung Fu Panda did first:

With an infinitely better villain to boot.
The Thor Ragnarok version is more memorable. I've seen both movies and I didn't even remember the Kung Fu Panda version.

Then again, I might be biased by the fact that the Ragnarok scene reminds me of a giant world ending K'daai Destroyer.

And also from what I've seen you're more of an Avengers fan than a Kung Fu Panda fan. I on the contrary am much more of a KFP fan, so the Kung Fu Panda 2 version is much more memorable to me (especially as Shen is my favourite villain of all time).

To each their own, as the old adage goes.

True... but only as it pertains to the MCU phases 1-3 (discounting Captain Marvel of course). I absolutely hate phase 4... and phase 5 will be more of the same garbage (with the hopeful exception of the Guardians vol. 3, which I am very excited for!).

Before Disney wokified the MCU, the franchise was a staple date night for @Mrs. NIGHTBRINGER and I. We would always go watch them in the theater. Sad that it came to this, but now I take pleasure in watching it burn.

Amen! I felt the same way when I saw the horror that is the new LotR. Used to take my Lady to the movies for her bday and dinner of her choice. We'd have something to talk about and we both love Tolkien. Then came the dark days. So extended cut movie it is!
