I can confirm this, always against WoC since I joined back in 8th Edition. Never known a group of angry beings in full metal armour beating a War Hydra into a pulp in one turn.
Then towards the end before The End Times, a Dwarf chasing down a fleeing Salamander with such speed.
To think the opponent would of complained about the Dark Elves 'Always Strike First' While his Lord on foot had my Black Dragon in a headlock.
