That sounds like a Protoss Dragoon from StarCraft.
(But then I guess 40k did it first, Blizzard stole a lot of ideas from Warhammer for StarCraft. Still did a great job).

In fairness, starcraft and warcraft started out as officially licensed projects of warhammer until they became rip-offs after the deal fell through :p
