To me: it Looks like the edge of his unaimed, moving, hand is about to clock her in the throat armor???

Also to me: the bullets appear to be flying in from the right edge of the frame and leaving the left edge. But, they are sheltering back against (something?) as if they are being fired on from the left.

It’s an odd picture all around.
