I bet it would catch a bit attention from the people walking past the display.

I painted those models for him 10 years ago! It is madness that he's even turned down free painting to get some color on them, most aren't even primed! God bless him he doesn't care, says he's waiting for retirement...

Roughly 1993 or 94. I've only known him for about 20 years but the grey horde has stood strong for all that time.

And they shall know no color!

Any film was made immediately better if the late, great Sir Christopher Lee had been added to the cast. A man of gravitas and culture and to this day one of the most prolific screen actors of all time - from playing German guards and other small parts in War films of the late '40s and '50s, through to his first big break in the Hammer Dracula films of the '60s, right up to returning to the fore as Saruman and Count Dooku from the 2000s onwards.

He is from an era of trained actors and had the presence of a true gentleman.

New 30k is a battlefield for who likes it due to leaks. I'm not excited for it as it seems to be moving towards a 40k style of play and release schedule. I quit 40k because of how they changed so not sure why they think I'd like it to be the same I barely get to game now due to work, family, work and other obligations so having the system be on a three year cycle is a no thank you from me.

It hasn't been the resounding success that GW hoped for yet. Most people who play 30k are hobby veterans who wanted something better than whatever the fuck vanilla 40k started to become as far back as 6th Ed, and as proper grognards who know the ins and outs of tabletop gaming (most of the time) they are exceptionally vocal about what they think is good and bad for the game as it develops.

They especially don't like having the toys they paid to use taken away from them.

That's why, following a lot of backlash over units and wargear options being cut from the army books before launch, GW more than doubled the number of unit entries in the upcoming Legacies PDF as a sloppy corporate apology. As a lot of 30k players will jab at GW: "Don't fuck with our game!"
