AoS War cry and AoS roster

Hello everyone, I wanted to buy a skink starter, is there some kind of universal roster out of this box that is suitable for both war cry and aos. Before that I played only 40k, I know almost nothing about this faction.
I only have a gang of lizards for underworlds )

Welcome to the forums! I wish I could offer good advice but my tactical nous is practically nonexistent. But I'm sure someone will be along who can give you good guidance soon!

I wouldn't search for something strong out of the SC box. It is only SC anyway. Some general rules:

- boltspitter and shield is still the best load out for skinks;
- bastiladon takes solar engine, no "ifs";
- terradons are probably still better with bolas.

You can go for boltspitter+club. It won't, like, destroy your army. And clubs can be good in large blocks of skinks.

You couid also just give your skinks both shields and clubs, it won't matter for warcry and in aos proper the shields are going to be the most visible thing on that arm, so it probably won't be an issue to just run them as that
