Afternoon guys. I was hoping for a bit of a critique for a game that I have upcoming against WoC next week. He will be running the usual cheese list I suspect and I would like give this guy a whooping (he wins a lot) if that is even possible.
Arrayed against me is likely to be:
Flying DP - Death, full cheese.
Disk BSB
Chariots
Dogs
Skullcrushers
Chimerae
Hellcannon
Best guess that is. Unknown numbers.
I am considering rolling with the following:
Slann Mage-Priest
- Lore of High Magic
- Battle Standard
- Belcaming Cogitation
- Channelling Staff
- Focus of Mystery
- Harmonic Convergence
- Resevoir of Eldritch Energy
Sarus Scar-Veteran
- Armor of Destiny
- Cold One
- Great Weapon
Sarus Scar-Veteran
- Armor of Fortune
- Dragonbane Gem
- Cold One
- Great Weapon
Skink Priest
- Lore of Beasts
- Dispel Scroll
- Pidgeon Plucker Pendant
9x10 Skink Skimishers
- Javelins and Shields
Bastilidon
- Solar Engine
25 Temple Guard
- Full Command
- Gleaming Pennant
Ancient Stegadon
- Engine of the Gods
- Sharpened Horns
Salamander Hunting Pack
- Additional Handler
Essentially. I intend to play defensively and screen the TG with the clouds of skinks for as long as possible. Ultimately, so long as I can effectively harass the other units, the TG could quite happily tank the DP for 4-5 turns whilst the Slann does his thing.
Which is where I am at a bit of a loss. High Magic, Metal or Death? I am open to convincing.
This is the only the third time I have played Lizards (Dwarf player usually). Hate not having those cannons haha! So be nice
.
Thanks in advance guys.
