1: Can I use skinks wary fighter to hold objetives?

2: Bloodclaw battalion puts scarvet as a hero which can be picked. In somewhere I read scarvet counts as an oldblood on foot. So can i include 2 or 3 oldbloods onfoot? 3 inches each could be great.

1) Yes as wary fighter does not count as a retreat.
2) I would assume so, yes. According to the Lizardmen compendium, the Saurus Scar-Veteran substitute warscroll is the Saurus Oldblood.
