So I thought I might as well start a new thread based on campaigns people are currently running, now the game is out and all ;)

Basically I would imagine this would be the thread were the topic of what one is doing in his/her campaign and what there plans are. Perhaps explaining the choice of armies and faction, what they are thinking of the game based on those campaigns and whether they can suggest any useful tips on how to use the faction.
Maybe we could even leave photos of the game we are running and small short in-game fluff segment, if folks are up for that sort of fun :P

I've started a game of the Last Defenders, lead by the one and only Kroq-Gar. Still just wandering about on the coastline of the east southern top of the Southlands. Currently I've captured perhaps five settlements, mostly if not only from the various of Skaven faction. I have been thinking on moving in lands, but either the settlement there are allies or they are really not suitable for Lizardmen settlement.

Lord:

Kroq-gar: Main army, has gotten his spear and rides a cold-one, I believe he'll get Grymloch in about three levels time. Mostly fitted with fighting traits, but some commandment and campaign trait (I always go for +10% movement, for instance)

Ace the Sauric: My other army, primarily focused on infantry, even has a buff for saurus warriors. A descend all around build.

I planned out my mazdamundi campaign awhile ago

Basic premise was to get max outted out with spells and zlaqq asap, then work on battle command skills.

Retake the isthmus, then push south to retake the remainder of lustria. Leave a stack up north to bottleneck any dark elf invasion.

Basically I wanted to restore lustria to glory

100 Turn in and I've been doing two of the rituals so far. Got my self a Slann whom defender the last of them against three hordes of Chaos Warriors, which was pretty intense, since I had put my main army with Kroq-Gar way south of where they were attacking me. Luckily, with some clever strategical maneuvering, I mannish to get them beaten, such that the ritual could be performed.

I'm thinking on bringing the fight to the elves, since they are doing quite well on their respective rituals. Kroq-Gar has left the southlands and are heading for Lothern :P

Go vauls anvil and caledor.

I started as Mazdamundi and am about 12 turns in. I've killed off the Skegi and am about to head north towards the mirror pool. After securing that area, I'll probably head south and west. We will see. Really enjoying the game so far.

glad you are having fun! remember to take screenshots for the screenshot thread!

Yeah show us your armies and your heroes!
Do the different Slann or Saurus Heroes look all the same or do they have different colors or so?

For some reason I can't do screen shots, something I have a tempted multiple times. I'll figure it out eventually, don't worry

As far as I can tell the saurus does have some variation, but not much, different crest and colours mainly.

Screens for the screens god!
Pics for the pics throne!!!

... I'm so sorry guys, I don't even belong to this thread since I never played a Total War game... I just couldn't resist...
You really should pic up some of the older ones. They are great.

If you are playing through steam hit F12.

The Lotern high elves are ahead of me in the vortex race, so I'll have to take them out eventually :P

After all the undead of the land of dead (pretty obvious, BTW that these guys are simply stand ins for Tomb kings until they'll be released) has been defeated, I'll be marching my three main armies towards Ulthuan and tear them apart :D

By the way, just because I can't play yet doesn't mean I won't save for dlc. And tomb Kings, being a longtime flagship army of mine, are an instabuy
