Help Total Warhammer skinks. Do they have facepaint, or is it their scale color?

As the title says.
If it IS scale color, I want to paint it like face/hand/feet paint. I think its really cool, like they'd paint their hands and feet.
Also sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section.

It's all clearly warpaint. You can see on some of the bigger scales there's a bit of blue underneath.

or it's just gradient coler look at the arms thats not how one aplise paint
