I decided to run a scar-vet on cold one. This guy is designed to take on anything small that needs dealing with including:
Flaming units, Ethereal Units, Characters, Warmachines.
Now you may instantly be thinking bane head... but I decided that was too many points for the off-chance I would want him character hunting especially as there are so few lone characters now...
This is my load out:
Scar Vetran, Cold One, Light Armour, The Other Tricksters Shard,
Charmed Shield, Dragonbane Gem, Banner of Eternal Flame - 145
Scar Vet - choppy
Cold One - speedy
Light Armour - savey
The other trickers shard - Anti-daemons/characters (anything with a ward save)
Charmed Shield - Cannon ball no thanks
Dragonbane gem - Charging things with flaming shooting/attacks
Banner of eternal flame - Etheral/regen units.
Now I feel for very cheap (they are all 5-15 point items) I have managed to cover almost every eventuality but have taken the decision to not use the obvious bane head... What do you think?
