The ones from 1932 and 1940 featuring Boris Karloff?I really enjoyed the first two Mummy movies.

I have never seen those I must admit. The ones from 1932 and 1940 featuring Boris Karloff?
It's a shame that the 3rd Brendan Fraser Mummy movie sucked.Ahhh.... so you don't mean the first ones but the ~10th and 11th ones...
Ok joke aside the Brendan Fraser movies were fun to watch. Not super high quality but still entertaining.
My favourite scene is when he suddenly pulls out the cat and it scares Imhotep to death.
Or the guy who has symbols of all religions on his chain just to be sure.![]()
Rachel Weisz not reprising her role was a death blow for the movie.Yeah that one was a bit painful.... ...to say the least.
It was hokey, and there was a reused section of footage during the fight against the terracotta army that pissed me off, but it inspired countless hobby projectsIt's a shame that the 3rd Brendan Fraser Mummy movie sucked.
It didn't have the tone or feel of the two that came before it. It was a miserable failure. It was hokey, and there was a reused section of footage during the fight against the terracotta army that pissed me off, but it inspired countless hobby projects
Ok fine, I liked certain parts of it thoughIt didn't have the tone or feel of the two that came before it. It was a miserable failure.
Fair enough... personally I despised it, but to each their own.Ok fine, I liked certain parts of it though
Like I said.it was hokey as hell.Fair enough... personally I despised it, but to each their own.
Cats rule. And Egyptians knew it.
I don't know what you are saying.mittens IS a god.Cats rule. And Egyptians knew it.
Well, I guess it is only natural for a culture whose survival and welfare was based on being able to store large amounts of agricultural products to see the immense value of cats keeping rodents at bay.
And with usefulness came appreciation and thus time to look at their unearthly beauty and grace. (Yes I like Cats as you know, hence the poetic choice of words).
From there it is only a short step to saying: "Look, There HAS to be a cat goddess obviously" and treating cats really well.
