My wife has been directing a play so I have had of time to paint. So these have been mostly done in the last month and a half. I am fairly new to the hobby so I made quite a few rookies mistakes. I completely assembled most models before painting them. That made painting the knights and warriors harder than it needed to be. It also made basing a bit harder. I am thinking of just selling these off and starting over. C and C would be appreciated. First a picture of the general army. More pics to follow. Sorry for the crappy picture quality. P1060536.JPG

They look really good can't wait for more pics :)

You painted all that in only a month and a half?!?!!? WOW :wideyed:

It would seem that @Lord-Marcus has finally met his match.

I am probably not as fast as you would think. No kids or anything so with the wife gone 5:30 to 9:30 and only generally sleeping 6 ish hours a night I would have 5-6 hours to paint a day. The play is over now though so the painting will probably slow down (good thing for my wallet).

Those all look great!

I would just suggest to spend a tiny bit more time on the bases, those are very plain. I think a few items like rocks or something could make them look less uniform.

But really nothing wrong with those Seraphon. They are quite impressive in fact. Very colorful, which does give them a strong mesoamerican vibe. :)

On that note do you have any recommendations where I can find good jungle basing material? Particularly jungle plants.

Depends on what sized you need. Here are some common tips:
- tea leaves. Buy some cheap tea, those make good ground clutter.
- plastic aquarium plants. You can get them in a dollar store or via amazon very cheaply. Then prime them and paint them.
