I both love and hate this. It is Precious... and also $500 US, so way out of my price range unless I win the lottery. I get that Lego is putting out these big mega-sets because people can, and WILL, buy them, but it would be nice if they would put out some smaller sets in similar themes for those of us who can't fork out that kind of cash...

I don't follow the LEGO scene, do they not release smaller kits as well? I've seen a bunch for Star Wars, but is it the same for LOTR?

Lately, no. They used to, but these days they're doing these mega sets for certain themes and only making the small sets for other themes. Annoying, but complaining about it to them doesn't seem to help.

That sucks.

$500 USD is pretty crazy. You can get yourself a PS5 for that.
 

Yes, but at the very least Papa Smurf has not been supplying any smurfberries to Putin's effort although he has not condemned Putin's unprovoked aggression either.

I suppose some argue that when you are neutral in a conflict, you are by default siding with the aggressor. Very unsmurfy, very unsmurfy indeed.
