I was gonna say Peter Jackson - that looks almost like my mental image of newer parts of Rivendell...

I was gonna say Peter Jackson - that looks almost like my mental image of newer parts of Rivendell...

They are not that different... one shows pictures made up from dreams, the other is a fantasy landscape. And the image got a certain, undeniable "unreal" flavor.
I went for Burton mostly because of the lighting.
