I would love to read an alternate universe comic like this. It wouldn't even have to be Spiderman. It would interesting to see any A-list superhero taken down by a nobody.

At the beginning of Batman Beyond, Bruce Wayne wasn't killed on his last night as Batman but he was decisively beaten by a no-name thugh with a wrench.

Such an amazing episode. gripping tension coupled with some pretty neat psychological profiling. Most episodes of this show normally have the latter, but this one in particular used tension to great effect.
