I don't think it is too unbelievable if you have watched Ibexes (and other mountain goats) in the wild.
People climbing mountains in the Alps have seen them do amazing stuff. At times they are standing right in the middle of a basically vertical mountain face, chewing on some weeds and watching the hairless apes wander by, totally looking like a boss and seeming to taunt us with their ease of movement. They even jump around there.

Today I learned (and I seriously don't know how that could take so long) that eating both fried chicken and watermelon are considered racist stereotypes in the USA.
I don't know the particular circumstances yet, since frankly, who doesn't like fried chicken or watermelons?

Mind blown.

Your point has been brought up by many stand up comedians of different races. Fried chicken and watermelon is fairly universal. It's sort of an outdated racist trope like "the black guy dies first in monster movies." It was super prevailent in 1970s and 1980s movies but by the nineties it was nearly always lampshaded or subverted espcially when genre aware black characters make comments like "I'm not going in that dark room, I seen this before, the black guy dies first" Then in 2000s movies often went the opposite direction where a lot of black characters in horror movies had plot armor, at least until near the end.
