Here is an impossible question: is broccoli green cauliflower, or is cauliflower white broccoli?

Judging by their history (I looked it up, very interesting) we can make a reasonable assumption:
They are both bred from the same wild plant, but cauliflower is older, by about 100 years.
So probably people wanted to have a green variant, it is likely they developed broccoli from cauliflower.

That would mean broccoli is green cauliflower. :)
