If you'd want your cook to make something specific, you'd need to ensure that you have all the right ingredients available for him, otherwise he'd have to simply work with what he's got.

In that case I'd go for the maid, because cooking the shit I mostly have got in my kitchen I can cook myself and I like doing it.
