Wow.

So what is this thing exactly and how did you end up staying there? Def8nitely seems like a story attached to this.

It was originally a fort in the English Channel somewhere along the south coast of England.

I don’t remember if it was built in the Victorian era originally, or for one of the World Wars. I think they were used (repurposed?) as AAA platforms in WW2.
