If you cannot be civil on the controversial threads, just don't post on those threads.

You can either issue a real apology, or you can just leave the thread alone altogether. I am not tolerating a hint of snarks or barbs in your next post here.

I'm genuinely sorry. It was over two years ago, and I just didn't think anything of it. Figured I'd get an eye roll at worst, but you live and learn.

In terms of civility, absolutely dude. I tried, I failed, and I'll use this experience as a good judge of what's appropriate moving forward. I appreciate the examples and I'm positive I can keep things under the bar we are setting with the comments that have and haven't been moderated.

IF there is room for serious discussion, I'll weigh in with my personal opinion and outlook on the weird time we find ourselves in - I think the backlash from the "woke" movement comes from companies effectively forcing a change that would otherwise happen naturally given enough time.

I don't subscribe to the idea that someone can't relate to a character/faction unless they are represented, I think that's a bit ridiculous. Again that representation would occur naturally given enough time but we are a socially intelligent society and forceful corrections are being made for better or for worse.

As with anything hastily done, these forceful corrections are often clumsy and come across shoehorned in. This quite naturally sends some people in the opposite direction and does more to harm the progress of society than to benefit it.

While I do find myself sometimes falling into the category of people "going the other way" as I describe it, I am genuinely not bothered as I think we will eventually reach a point where as a society everyone has the "equality" we seem to so desperately seek. There will be no need to "force" representation or virtue signal. A bit like when shops were plastered in signs outside advertising "we accept card!" and now it kind of goes without saying, I am surprised when a shop is cash only.

Now, specifically talking about Warhammer, on the one hand I don't see a problem with female custodes. On the other, how would I feel if there were male sisters of battle? I don't think I would like that, feels like that particular army would be robbed of their identity. However, female custodes sits better with me compared to female space marines and I can't explain why.

It is widely accepted that there are female guardsman and fits the theme, but AFAIK you only get female heads on the sprue since the latest refresh, female guardsmen have been largely unrepresented in the official books/games until recently but nobody is kicking off about that?

It was worded poorly but i wasn't joking. I was literally told this thread is not a place for discussion ( shared below for clarity). Trust me, I get the temptation to discuss something on a public forum in a general chat, but it is what it is. Just sit back, enjoy the memes and don't think to hard. Although maybe that was just a "me" rule? I genuinely don't know at this point /shrug.

Good luck!

This thread from it's very inception till now, was not intended to be a debate on whether or not SJW politics should be included in mainstream media. This thread was created specifically for the audience that is already sympathetic to anti-wokeness.

This thread was created to point and laugh at failed attempts to promote woke ideology in media and to complain about how it led to a decline in modern media. By challenging the narrative of this thread, you are technically trolling it.

This is not a thread intended for debate
